Caring for yourself or a loved one can be costly and confusing. We maintain great
relationships with organizations offering veteran benefits and
income subsidy programs to help you feel at ease and more prepared
for the future. Below are some options that may point you in the
right direction.
Veteran Benefits
The Veteran Administration offers programs for Veterans that
provides compensation benefits and pension related options to
eligible United States Veterans. Visit www.va.gov or call (800)
827-1000 for further assistance in evaluating how veterans programs
can apply to your Imperial Senior Suites
costs.
Section VIII
A federally fundedrent
subsidy program offered through
HUD with specific income guidelines aimed at helping people find
affordable housing. Visit www.michgan.gov/mshda or call your local
office.
MI Choice Waiver Program
Through this program, eligible adults who meet income and asset
criteria can receive Medicaid-covered services like those provided
by nursing homes, but can stay in their own home or another
